Cheerios Milestones Blog Tour and Giveaway
Thursday, October 07, 2010This contest is now closed and a winner has been selected.
When I think back to one of the most memorable milestones of the past few years watching my children grow, the one that stands out the most is watching my daughter take her first steps on her own. She was 10 months old and had no interest in crawling until the day before my first Mother's Day. In the morning, she finally started crawling. And then, later that same day, she took her first unassisted steps! She walked right out of my arms in into her father's. I felt so proud of her and couldn't be more thrilled to have my husband there to witness it with me. What sheer joy!
And speaking of joy, I have the great pleasure of sharing with you a wonderful opportunity that celebrates such momentous milestones - the Cheerios Milestones Contest.
You could have your child featured on a special edition Cheerios Box and WIN $10,000 towards an RESP from TD Canada Trust!
Simply visit www.cheerios.ca and submit a picture of your child's "Cheerios Milestone" and write a short description of how Cheerios has played a special part in your child's early years. That's all there is to it. Just be sure to enter before December 15, 2010.
But, wait! There's still more. One of my readers will be selected to win a Cheerios play book perfect for learning and fun. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post sharing a story about one of your child’s milestones. I will be picking a winner on October 29 so there is plenty of time to enter.
Looking forward to reading about your special milestone stories!
Disclosure - I am participating in the Cheerios Milestones program by Mom Central on behalf of General Mills. I received a gift card as a thank you for my participation. The opinions on this blog are my own.

My husband and I were watching the Olympics on TV and we saw the high chair move. We looked down and saw our little guy who was 8 months at the moment take his first steps with support. He didn’t walk without support until 11 months, but we’ll never forget this moment.

My favorite moment is when our son finally walked. Our two girls walked by 10 months of age, and the boy just didn't seem to want to even try.Doctor's visits and check ups still no answers. We were so worried until one day at the age of 14 months he finally pulled himself up to a chair. What a relief. From then on it was none stop. GO GO GO !!!!
ReplyDeletemy daughters milestone is when she first walked..she was standing up while holding onto something for a few weeks and finally at 9 months she took her first steps without holding onto something
ReplyDeleteMy fav moment was when my little girl first found her hands and started clapping. It was too cute and the look of pure amazement was so funny.
