See CHIMPANZEE, Save Chimpanzees
Monday, April 02, 2012In a few weeks, we will be celebrating Earth Day and thanks to Disneynature, we will be able to enjoy their newest real-life adventure called CHIMPANZEE. On April 20th, moviegoers are invited deep into the forests of Africa to meet the adorable young chimp named Oscar and his chimpanzee family. Featuring Disneynature’s signature breathtaking, never-before-seen footage, CHIMPANZEE showcases the "intelligence and ingenuity of some of the most extraordinary personalities in the animal kingdom." After having watched Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees at the Ontario Science Centre, I am very much looking forward to watching CHIMPANZEE.
In celebration of the film’s release, Disneynature has teamed up with the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada to bring you their “See CHIMPANZEE, Save Chimpanzees” program. For every moviegoer who watches the film on opening week, a donation will be made to JGI Canada to help protect chimpanzees and their habitats, now and into the future.
Check out this incredible CHIMPANZEE trailer. Doesn't it look amazing?
I also recommend you watch "See Chimpanzee, Save Chimpanzees." It contains commentary from Dr. Jane Goodall herself as well as director Alistair Fothergill who thought the film was over when little Oscar became an orphan.
My family and I will be attending the screening of CHIMPANZEES on Saturday, April 14 at Silver City Yorkdale. If you're able to join us for the 10am screening, enter below for your chance to win a family pass for 4.
