ReplyDeleteThere are so many creative and innovative things children and adults can do with technology. My daughter is in the gifted program at her school and is encouraged to go above and beyond. Using technology like this would allow her to use her visual learning style to create and demonstrate her learning in new and exciting ways!

ReplyDeleteI think both of my kids could benefit because it would allow them to schedule in their homework and project dates, and do their homework. My boys' school use sites like raz-kids and edmodo for some of their homework. They could use the printer for printing off assignments, research, etc.

My kids are getting very good at using computers and actually are teaching me things now lol. They use these types of things for school projects and for their own personal creative ideas too. My kids are all high school age now and they cant really do the things they need to do without these things . I would love this for my oldest who just graduated and is starting college and he could really use this for himself

ReplyDeleteAside from a teeny bit of time using our iPhones when entertainment is scarce our girls don't really have much to do with technology. I think this would be a great way to introduce them into the world of it with an educational spin!

ReplyDeleteI love the HP Slate for my eldeest for school. These stylus is a great addition and this tablet is built sturdy making it perfect for school. Once he gets home the printer make scanning printing and copying his assignments much easier. I have two kids so the printer would get double use.

My 16 yr old is dyslexic and needs to do most of his work electronically so this would be perfect plus we haven't had a working printer in over 5 years. It scans kind of but won't print.

ReplyDeleteMy son has a learning disability. Letters don't stay still on the page and he has difficulty spelling. The HP slate would allow him to use programs that let him put his verbal words onto the slate and then he could print them off on the printer. This would make the narrow the gap between him and his peers.

ReplyDeleteI think my son would benefit from this giveaway,being a single mother ,it's not always easy making ends meet and purchasing nice things for your children .I had purchased a inexpensive blackberry playbook as my sons Christmas gifts last year and they were having problems with the plugin .So there is a perfectly good blackberry here that cannot be used any longer.Would be great to surprise him with a new tablet!

ReplyDeleteMy son is 9 years old and was born with some health issues that resulted in him going with out oxygen to his brain for many hours and how has a speech and language disorder and it was highly suggested from the assessment he had done in June that "technology" would benefit him very much as he can not read and write yet but there is technology software (pictures that turn into words) that can be added to any device that can benefit him very much. he would be able to print off the stuff after he has gotten his ideas down. He is a very smart boy if he can only get his thoughts out and the speech issues make its very hard. We are a one income family and have been saving up for months for a printer and slate but it is very difficult and hard with 3 other children. This would change my sons life in so many ways. he would be able to express himself at school and at home with out getting upset and feel like no one understand him and his tears would be less everyday.
