In just a few months, school will be out for the summer. And while this may sound great to us teachers, most parents might begin fretting over what they can do to keep their kids busy and active during their summer vacation. I recently found out about a summer camp right here in Toronto that offers Dance and Arts Camps during the month of July. These camps are held at Pegasus Studios located at 361 Glebeholme Blvd. (near Danforth and Coxwell) and for the first time, they are expanding their summer programs to include sports games and fitness activities. The Centre was founded back in 1986 by mother and daughter team Lynda Johnson and Jane Davis-Munro and currently offers a wide array of classes including Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jaz, Tap and Modern dance, as well as Kindermusik, and fitness classes such as Yoga and Pilates. I'm really interested in the Yoga 4 Kids class, which combines two of my favourite forms of Yoga - Kundalini and Hatha.
