Me and my first-born, summer 2007 |
Tonight our family had a lot fun playing the silliest of nonsensical games. In fact, the games didn't matter. Spending the time together was what really counted. At one point, I stopped and admired how small my 2-year-old son is and how much my 5-year-old daughter has grown. I tried to remember my daughter when she was two, sans bangs and sporting pinchable chubby cheeks. Man, I miss those days. Life was so much easier when you could give all your attention to one child. Yeah, I miss those days...

Looks like you did some awesome reflection. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific WW. :)
I agree - it was much easier.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love the twins and wouldn't trade them for the world - I miss being able to devote all my time to my oldest. I feel I don't know her as well as I used to, since 1 on 1 time is so limited. Mommy guilt.....And by the way, you two are both adorable!!!
