When I celebrated my 5-year blogoversary a couple of months ago, I asked you, my readers, to share your thoughts and ideas on what you like about Toronto Teacher Mom, what needed to be changed and what you would like to see more of. One reader mentioned how they would like to see more reviews and giveaways geared towards older kids and teens. So when I got an email today about this contest, I thought I'd share it with you. SalonYada in Toronto is launching a prom contest called Look Your Best With Your Best! To celebrate this milestone in all young girls’ lives, this contest will award free hairstyling/updos for two young girls attending their prom. It encourages all best friends to enter the contest. All you have to do is follow and tweet to @SalonYada and tell them in 140 characters or less why you and your best friend deserve to win a free prom hair makeover by Premier Yorkville stylist, Yamen Dak. The contest starts tomorrow May 7 and will continue until May 31. They will select a winner based on the most creative tweet. (I'm sure not many of my readers fall in this age range but perhaps moms or dads can tweet on their behalf.)
