Wordless Wednesday - Take a Walk Through Nature (w/linky)
Tuesday, December 06, 2011One day, we happened across a dear in the woods and decided to take the family for a walk along the paths to get a closer look. We saw the deer but it soon ran away. So we continued along the paths and enjoyed some beautiful sights. We even watched a train pass overhead. My son was in complete awe.

The photo where they are holding the walking sticks is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI like that one, too, Trisha. They were constantly on the lookout for the perfect walking stick.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot. I really like the trees in the first shot. But I agree that the walking sticks are really cute. And the rocks int he last shot are neat. Is that a duck? Oh wait, is that two ducks?
ReplyDeleteGreat Memories!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
ReplyDeleteYes, there are two ducks! We came across dozens more all fishing for food. It was really neat!
ReplyDeleteMy boys would have LOVED to see that train!
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures!
ReplyDeletegorgeous! And I love the metal-bars-through-rocks-railing thing :)
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, we were right up close but had to move back because you can't see the train from underneath. It sure was loud!
ReplyDeleteTara, that metal-bars-through-rocks thing was pretty cool. Each rock had a date imprinted on it. What they represented, sure beats me.
Beautiful pics! I love being out in nature! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go and hug the trees in the first picture! They look giant! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't they?!
ReplyDeleteThe rocks on the rods ... what a neat idea! Lovely pics.
