Zax's Bruise Cream - Giveaway

Last night, the whole family loaded into the car and headed over to the local arena for what has become our weekly family skate. Having only been ice skating about a half dozen times in my life, I'm a little worried about falling down and bruising my ego. But when it comes to my kids, I'm more concerned about them getting hurt. My son started skating once a week with his daycare class a couple of months ago and my daughter has only ever been skating about five times in total. Still, they have come a long way. 

This winter has proven to be busier than winters past. With skating, gymnastics and tennis on our weekly schedule, the kids have been getting their fair share of physical activity. We also take great care where safety is concerned, especially with skating. Our kids both wear helmets to protect them from head injury but in general, we can't always protect them from bumps and bruises. Not unless someone designs a body suit made of bubble wrap.


For those dreaded occasions when the little ones suffer a bump or bruise, I now use a new Canadian-made line of therapeutic cream that had been sent to me to sample called Zak's Bruise Cream. My son is at that stage now where he horses around a lot and bangs into things. This explains the odd bruise that pops up every now and then. But I couldn't be more shocked when, the next morning, the bruise had nearly disappeared!

As you can see from the photos, the cream had a remarkable effect on the bruise. I have used it many times and have noticed similar results. I gave the original formula to a colleague at work who is slightly prone to accidents who bruises easily. She noticed that it helped reduce the discoloration as well.

    I love that this product is Canadian made! :)

    I've never heard of Zax's until you did this review and being from a family that is very accident prone we NEED something like this around the house at all times. Zax's cream is the only all natural bruise cream product that is certified by Health Canada. The children's product doesn't have any menthol in it which is a bonus because my boys hate that menthol smell and they refuse to put any creams on that have a strong odour.
