      And I love that my son heard this story once at daycare so now he wants to read it all the time.

      So does my son, now. He turns to every page and says, "I do not like green eggs and ham, Sam I am." LOL

    Oh, how we love Dr Seuss! My son doesn't understand the words are yet, but he still loves hearing them.

      We even bought computer software for Cat in the Hat and Dr. Seuss' ABC so they can interact with the story, too. The kids love it!

    I still remember my introduction to Dr. Seuss as a child who could forget the Cat in the Hat an its gigantic pink attempt at leaning

      That's great! I bought a tonne of secondhand children's books for real cheap through eBay back when I taught gr. 2/3. I ended up donating a bunch but it's hard to let go of the classics.
