Children's Sheepskin Boots by EMU Australia

Saturday, June 02, 2012

Sheepskin boots. Yeah, I've seen them around. Yet, I've never convinced myself that I needed to try on a pair. Not until recently, that is. But now that my daughter has her very own pair courtesy of EMU Australia, I'm beginning to suffer from sheepskin envy. The kid just doesn't want to take them off, they're that comfy. I don't see what the big deal is, really. I know they keep your legs and feet toasty warm and help to regulate your body temperature. Still I'm not so sure they would look good on me. My daughter really knows how to work them, though. She received a pair of EMU Wallaby Hi boots in chestnut and wears them with anything and everything. They're made with the finest Australian sheepskin and are one of the best quality children’s sheepskin boots available on the market.

The EMU Australia Wallaby Hi is the kid’s version of EMU’s signature Stinger Hi. They sit just below the knee, are made with superior craftsmanship and are ultra comfortable for little feet.
  • The EMU Australia Wallaby Hi Sheepskin boots naturally ‘wicks away moisture’ meaning odourless footwear
  • Embossed premium suede and vintage EMU leather branding, so you know it’s a genuine EMU
  • Superior double stitched seams for added strength
  • Moulded suede leather heel cup for better fit and support
  • Durable EMUsole™ hardwearing rubber with quality EVA inset for comfort and support

After my daughter's new-found obsession with boots, I decided to look into the adult styles on EMUAustralia.com. And boy, what a big mistake that was. Ladies, EMU not only makes flat-soled sheepskin boots but they make wedge boots, leather boots, slippers, moccasins, and sandals, too. So many great styles, it was so hard to resist clicking on "Add to Cart" for every item that caught my fancy. Seriously, I want a pair of their Heighten Lo wedge boots, they look super chic. And they have such stylish scarves, sarongs, gloves, cardigans, wraps and more. Their apparel is now available for purchase online but it comes with a hefty price tag. The good thing is, however, EMU Australia will ship for free via DHL Express courier service and will also pay all duties and taxes that may arise along the way. So basically the price you see is the price you pay.

I noticed that their Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook isn't up yet but if you head over to EMU Australia Facebook fan page, you can ogle over some of the great looks they've put together such as the Pacific Heights sarong with Stinger Lo boots. Gorgeous!
