Back to School With SpaFinder Wellness
Thursday, July 25, 2013
So here we are, midway through summer and the often dreaded return of school days looming on the horizon. The countless trips to the pool, theme park, ice cream parlour, it's all been fun, no doubt. But is has likely left some parents with little time to just chill. And by 'some', I'm referring to me. Even when I'm not running about shuttling the kids to soccer or piano lessons, it has proven to be quite difficult to find the ever elusive 'me time' so many moms and dads long for.
Summer vacation is without a doubt my most favourite time of the year. It provides us teachers a time to reflect, re-energize and renew our passion for the profession before starting another school year. With two children of my own, however, I spend most of the summer running Camp Mom and keeping up with the ol' blog. When do I get a vacation, you ask? Well, if I pack up the kids for a weekend getaway chez mes parents, that's about as good as it gets. Don't get me wrong. They run the best bed-and-breakfast that only grandparents can afford to their direct descendents. And I always feel a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders when I'm there. Yet, sometimes, I simply yearn to be alone with me, myself and I.
SpaFinder Wellness understands the desire to feel happy and healthy, and the undeniable need to relieve stress, and find balance. Dedicated to sharing inspiration, experiences, and
information to help you find and share your personal path to
wellness, SpaFinder.ca has made it easy to locate and book spa, wellness, yoga, Pilates, weight loss, fitness, and salon services at various locations across the country.
