When Olympic bronze soccer medalist, Kaylyn Kyle started playing soccer with contacts, she felt more confident about playing the game. She felt free. "Contact lenses just allowed me to really focus on the visual part of the game," she says in her "Focus on Performance" video. Having partnered with Bausch + Lomb, Kaylyn is dedicated to raising awareness about the positive impact of lenses and encourages parents and teens to consider making the transition to SofLens® daily disposable contact lenses.
Looking back on my high school days, I firmly believe that, had I tried contact lenses, I would have been less reluctant to join sports teams and would have performed better in gym class. Self-confidence was something I significantly struggled with during my teen years and I did not know enough about contact lenses back then to feel comfortable trying them. Now, I wish I had.

ReplyDeleteI would love to try contacts. I have been wearing glasses for years and I've hit the point that glasses make me look older. I apply make-up and it's a chore with glasses. I can't even pluck my eyebrows without adjusting my glasses up and down. Contacts would let me see the world a little clearer.

I hope that my son doesn't need to wear glasses as he is growing up. I have worn contact lenses almost since I needed glasses. The prescription is very different in each eye and my first pair of glasses were almost like a coke bottle on one side and normal on the other. I am interested in trying a daily contact lens, I have always done monthly or biweekly ones up to now.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has been wanting to make the switch for a number of years already. She hates her glasses and being a sporty girl breaks them all the time.

ReplyDeleteMy 17 year old son rarely wears his glasses because he doesn't like the way he looks yet he really needs them to function properly. He is going to be driving soon and as a long-time contact wearer and advocate of same, I know that he will have the very best vision for driving and for sports with contacts. He will no longer have to worry about the appearance aspect.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make the transition to contacts since I am around animals all the time and they are forever knocking my glasses off or leaving nose prints all over them (Judy Cowan)

My daughter received glasses earlier this year. Eventually, I'd like to show her contacts so that we don't have to worry about her losing her glasses, and she constantly "forgets" to wear them, contacts might nip that in the bud,

ReplyDeleteMy son wears his glasses all the time and they are a pain for sports or when going from the cold into the warm air. Plus would be great for him to be able to use regular sunglasses .

His glasses sometimes bang against the lion head, which compromises his vision occasionally. My brother would love to make the transition to contacts, as he could participate more fully in lion dance.
ReplyDeleteI would like to switch to contacts because my glasses are always dirty. Also, it is so hard to lay down in bed or on the couch to watch tv without your glasses getting squished. And it sucks going to 3D movies and having to put glasses overtop glasses
ReplyDeleteI am entering your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to win this Bausch + Lomb prize pack.
In response to your question of why you would like to transition to contact lenses, I would like to switch because glasses are really annoying. They are constantly getting dirty and keep sliding down my nose.
