Chilling at the Harbourfront, Toronto
Tuesday, March 11, 2014
On Saturday, we took the kids to the Harbourfront Centre and spent some time making crafts
Today we made masks and corsages in Miss Lou's Room at the @HarbourfrontTO: pic.twitter.com/Ba56UZbHMW

Afterwards, we decided to walk around outside and noticed several ducks, geese and swans just chilling on the frozen lake. I think there were wondering about spring just like the rest of us.

ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! My husband always teases me because anytime we are near the water--I have more pictures of ducks, geese, seagulls, pelicans, etc than anything...love them! Have a wonderful week and thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteLove the crafts and the ducks of course. They are just as confused as everyone else. Lovely weather today, melting snow, etc, to a forecast of 8-15 inches of snow for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove their little tracks on the frozen lake
ReplyDeletePoor ducks! I love the tracks on the ice. That is a cool picture.

ReplyDeleteOh I just love March Break and all the opportunities it provides for local adventure :)
ReplyDeleteGreat harbor pics -- and at least those fowl have a bit of open water to dive for food. Starving ducks has been a huge problem this year with so much ice.
ReplyDeleteYour weather looks like our weather.
ReplyDeleteAw the poor ducks :( I hope spring comes soon.
ReplyDeleteYou're far too brave! Nothing, not even the cute ducks would make me want to leave the warmth of my home. Can't wait for spring...
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics! Love the masks you made :)
ReplyDeleteThe ducks and swans here are also wondering where spring is. Ugh. :(
