Lynx at the Biodôme in Montreal
Tuesday, April 29, 2014
A few weeks ago, our grade eight students went to Montreal and I joined them as a chaperone. One of our stops was at the Biodôme. Of particular note were the lynx. Not just because they were so cute but because everyone was so fascinated with their dinner.

I didn't realise they looked so much like a domestic cat but much bigger and fiercer LOL, I do hate seeing animals eating each other but I doubt meat potatoes and veg would float their boat either LOLOL
ReplyDeleteHave a lynxtastic week ;-)
I was at the Biodome ages ago. I think I am due for another visit sometime soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my is that a rat in his mouth?...
ReplyDeleteAw, that last shot... So much for it looking like a kitty.
ReplyDeleteLove the Lynx. They have always fascinated me with their beauty. I kept a photo of them on a postcard when I was little.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Lynx are one of my favorite cats.
ReplyDeleteWe have Lynx at our nature reserve in England... my boys love watching them eat too!

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful animals, but I wouldn't want to run into one in the woods. They look fast and fierce too!
ReplyDeleteA pretty cat! I wouldn't want to mess with one though.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the first time I've seen a lynx.. don't think we have it in our zoo here
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting experience. Is that a rat it is eating?

I have never seen a lynx in person -- beautiful but definitely a predator.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!

So majestic! Thanks for sharing =) #WW
ReplyDeleteI grew up in an area where there were threats from these things in the wild. They're very pretty, but I would NEVER want to cross paths with one, unless there was glass or a strong fence between us. =)
ReplyDeleteWe went there on our honeymoon!
ReplyDeleteI'd hate to me what's in his mouth :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a creature!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love lynx. Is he eating a ferret/mink?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous creature!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute kitty! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful creature. I must take my gang to the Biodome.
ReplyDeleteI like Biodome. Really cool place for kids.
ReplyDeleteAww its really cute!
ReplyDeleteI've never been there but I like how the place actually looks like their natural habitat because I hate when they're in small enclosures because it's inhumane
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to leave a comment here on Toronto Teacher Mom. Hope you have a great day!
