Spring has arrived and with it the anticipation of Easter. The custom of decorating boiled eggs during the Easter season has been an old tradition for many. As much as I loved decorating them, though, I loved eating chocolate eggs even more. We would wake up Sunday morning, head to church, and then enjoy a scrumptious turkey lunch with the family before having our special chocolate treat. Now that I have children of my own, our Easter weekend includes a trip to my hometown to enjoy that same turkey lunch at my parents' with my siblings and their families. My sister often organizes an Easter egg hunt, too, which the kids really love. The following day, we spend it at my mother-in-law's with my husband's family. And yes, there is always chocolate. And sometimes this will include a special KINDER® SURPRISE® egg!
